Born

Doni, our precious jewel was born on 19th May, 1987. The third of five children, she shone like a diamond and was truly a rare gem. She studied Architecture at the Obafemi Awolowo University, were she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree, and continued in pursuit of a Masters in Architecture at the De Montfort University, Leicester, UK.

Doni was warm, pleasant, amiable and welcoming. She was beautiful, gentle soul, with the kindest heart. A pure and resilient force, she sailed through life, never letting her challenges deter her from blessing you with a smile, or showing up in every way she could, when we needed her. Doni's strength was quiet, never harming others; and a force, silencing that which came against her.She lived her life gracefully and on her own terms, her physical challenges could not define or stop her. She always picked up right where she left off after every medical interruption. Her life was and continues to be an inspiration to many.Although we miss all of Doni terribly - her brilliance, kindness, wit, humour and heart. We are comforted knowing she fought the good fight and won.You are dear to us Doni and now that you have joined the cloud of witnesses, do what you do best; keep cheering us on until we meet again in Heaven.
